Rules & Regulations
The Tournament is Open to Tamil Nadu Players only.
Mobile Phones & Watches are not allowed in the playing hall.
TNSCA player registration is compulsory for all players.
TNSCA player registration fee is Rs. 150/- for the year 2025–2026.
For TNSCA New Player Registration link: https://registration.tamilchess.com/new-register/The Latest FIDE Rapid Rules in force shall apply and the Swiss System will be followed.
Time Control: Each Player 20 minutes.
First Round will be started at 9.45 am on 15.02.2026 (Sunday).
Number of Rounds, Round 1 pairing will be displayed on 15.02.2026 (Sunday) after 7 am in www.chess-results.com
Strictly No Spot Entries.
The players are requested to bring their own Chess set & Chess Clock if any.
Tie Breaks: Swiss tiebreak system will be applied.
In case of Tie, Prizes will not be shared.
Chief Arbiter’s decision will be the Final on all players concerned.
Last date for registration: 13.02.2026 before 10 pm.
Age Limit:
Under – 9 : Born on or After 01.01.2017
Under – 12 : Born on or After 01.01.2014
Under – 15 : Born on or After 01.01.2011
Under – 17 : Born on or After 01.01.2009
Certificate Will Be Awarded to all Participants.
Entry Fee - ₹400.00 (Including Tax)
